totally overrated!!! i ate here with a college bud. we were both disappointed with everything we ordered. the squid was sooo tough, we had to request for knives to be able to cut the squid rings into smaller pieces, otherwise, we would've choked in them. the aligue rice was just so-so. i couldn't even taste the aligue flavor. talk about scrimping on ingredients. we also ordered lengua, sisig style but was too hot. too hot that despite the bland tasting aligue rice, we were able to finish off the whole platter just to wash off the very spicy lengua. we weren't even warned about this. hmp! the lemongrass iced tea that i ordered just tasted like your ordinary ginger ale, iced version only. i'm never coming back to this resto. total waste of money for me.

Different cuisine from Ten different Titas'? Wow that's a lot! There so many dishes to chew on but mostly Filipino. What I Love here is the pinoy kakanins. Suman and biko was the best! Champorado....gives me the chill! Love sitting on the Rattan chair from space! However, not enough space to accommodate lots of people. Also when you eat here especially outside, you may seem to have an odd feeling that people stares at you because the place is situated at mall and near an escalator.

Since we are a bunch of Filipinos who love to try anything new, we decided to eat at Caf? Ten Titas. The caf? is rather small which can only accommodate less than 50 guests. I must say it has a good ambiance probably because of the use of dark wood in its dining fixtures. If you are going to go there with just a friend, you may want to eat at outside portion of the caf? and sit on interesting chairs made of rattan. Their menu list consists of a wide-array of Filipino food that you will need some minutes of pondering on what to try. All look very delicious from appetizers to desserts!Cafe Ten Titas' menu had a lot of intriguing desserts. We tried the Suman Threesome. Suman is a native sticky rice dessert that can be made many ways. Cafe Ten Titas has three different versions in their dessert. First is biko with a sticky panocha sauce that is not as sweet as it appears, second is lightly-fried suman in what seems to be a white chocolate sauce, and third one is sapin-sapin like in texture with chocolate drizzle. This is the sweetest of the bunch. Good thing, they also included fruits like mango to cut the sweetness of the whole dish.
Because all the dishes in their menu list look very delicious, I will definitely visit Caf? Ten Titas again and bring more friends so we can try more of their food. I will try next time their Tocino Carbonara and Twice-Cooked Adobo Shortribs.

Caf? Ten Titas is a brightly-lit spot in the expanse that is Gateway Mall. Try to nab a seat in the cozy nook just off the main seating area, it will afford you a view of the Araneta Coliseum’s dome. Orders are not served immediately since everything is cooked to order, but the servers are attentive and more than willing to suggest the restaurant’s bestsellers. While waiting for your food, acquaint yourself with the menu. It’s a visual, captivating read of the story of ten titas and the food you’re about to eat.

It’s on this theme of “tita” that a new café has been built. Aptly called Café Ten Titas, it’s a globalized take on Filipino dishes. A look through the sturdy, colorful menu depicts in photos and postcards the story of a young girl who has been corresponding since 1989 with her ten titas who are scattered in places as far-removed from each other as Madrid, Osaka, London, British Columbia, etc.
