The food here is always good, but the service was very slow the last time I visited. I just ordered Deep Fried Taro Puffs and it took all of 25 minutes before it was served. I even checked with the waiter if he was able to get my order. The wait was so unnaturally long I thought he forgot to punch it in.
Gloria Maris is generally a popular choice for Chinese families celebrating special occasions like birthdays, engagements, weddings, baptisms... unfortunately this branch is not one of those venues because it's very small. It's really more of a mini-branch compared to the other huge, sprawling Gloria Maris scattered all over the metro. Good for a quick authentic Chinese breakfast, lunch, or dinner but not really those full-blown full-course lauriat parties. Although the second floor could probably accomodate a small gathering, say about around 30+ people?

Gloria Maris in wilson is a cozy spot usually occupied by families. Their sweet and sour pork, steamed fish, crabs and beef with brocolli are good.
The best shabu-shabu place in the Philippines. Better try their shabu buffet well worth it.
