good earth at the fort boasts of a nice quiet place to have lunch or dinner. The design of the interior is elegant and spacious. It continues to serve creative and flavorful dishes that made it successful back when it started at the magallanes commercial center. Despite being flavorful, their food is not filled with msg or seasonings, and is quite healthy as the chef allows the food's freshness and original taste speak for the dish. Portions size isn't that great so you may want to order a few extra dishes. Service is good as the staff is very attentive and quick to respond.

This restaurant is famed for its modern Chinese Filipino food, presented and served in a trendy way. The food was good as recommended. We started with Duckittos, which is mini tacos with fillings of Peking duck (scallions, duck slices, mushrooms and dressed with mayo and hoisin sauce). The crispy tacos provide a sexy texture to this dish...tofu braised in an assortment of mushrooms. Silky smooth and very tasty..Crispy pork, done in a Filipino way, crispy hot on the outside, super soft inside. Melts in your mouth! Lastly the steam prawns with crab fat is not to be missed.I was so captivated with the taste of the "crab fat" (definitely not for the faint hearted) that I bought 2 jars back for my own experiments.

Good Earth also doesn’t look like a Chinese restaurant, unless you count the statue of a towering Chinese soldier situated in the corner. The place has a very Zen feel to it, very conducive to meetings and when I want to have a long, quiet lunch with a good friend.
