The Binondo Mami and the Taipao were so-so to good. However, the warm choco tablea was a disaster. They microwaved it then served it a bit cold. We complained. Then they nuked it some more. Then they had the gall to serve it with the chocolate melted and the cake hardened. Poor service coupled by tight parking make for forgetting this place.
Again, the waiters don't use their head. You won't want to know why...........

My wife and I had a nice leisurely merienda here a couple of days ago. I ordered the Binondo Style Mami which tasted a lot like the regular North Park's noodle soup offerings. She had their Cua Pao and their specialty dessert called Storm. The Cua Pao was rather cheap at P65 for 2 whole buns, but my wife said they tasted nothing special and would rather have Tasty Dumpling's Hong Ma and Steamed Silver Roll next time. She really liked the Storm dessert though, it was made of finely shaved ice, home-made ube, cubed saba, leche flan, sago, cream, and a little jackfruit. It sure looked yummy but since the Binondo Style Mami was so heavy I couldn't eat any more. I want to go back soon because they still have a lot of stuff on the menu I want to try.

The place is very quaint and cozy, perfect for afternoon meriendas or little get-togethers with friends. It's totally unlike the super bright and cramped North Park Restaurants most of us have gotten used to.
Since we went for after-dinner coffee and kuwentuhan hubby and I weren't able to eat anything anymore, so we just ordered coffee. I had their hot blended coffee while hubby had the iced version. It was okay, albeit a tad too creamy and sweet for my tastes. Hubby's was lighter, but maybe it's because of the ice.
I liked going around the place and checking out their many bread products and pastries -- they had stuff like pandan ensaymada, pork floss buns, chocolate crinkles, an assortment of loaves and cookies... there's a lot of things you can take home. I got one of their delivery menu leaflets since they cover our location, hopefully I'll get to taste their food one of these days.
Definitely worth checking out, if I were to judge according to the venue, variety, and pricing of the food.
