The food is premium priced for quick serve - McDo by comparison comes at a bargain. The cheapest filling meal is the Go-go sandwich meal at P70 which is just pita wrapped chicken with a generous share of veggies and a mayo-based sauce. A burger meal packages bun-filled sandwich with at least 100gms of fries and a drink. So what is their saving grace? Variety. KFC Philippines has more offerings on their menu than any other fastfood resto. They have recently introduced a yogurt and flavor powdered based cold drink priced at P65, a competitive offering that hopes to poach from coffee houses. But their servings are erratic - going from messingly runny to chokingly thick. And the powdered, preserved flavorings don't readily dissolve so you sometimes get sour chunks at the bottom of the cup. Then again, nobody else serves yogurt 24 hours a day.
So basically, I am saying that KFC is taking advantage of availability leverage - they are growing by positioning themselves as a easy source of favorite substitutes.
Just to balance this review, I confess to being a fan of their macaroni, their Hot Shots, the Go Go sandwich, and their gravy. And yes, I will still buy their new chilled mixed drinks. And yes, their Shopwise resto is newly redecorated and quite attractive.

Thi is my favorite fast food. Two pieces Hot and Crispy can fill me up. Plus the bottomless gravy.

if not because of how good the chicken is.. i wouldnt eat @kfc. i have experienced in some kfc branches like in connecticut and market market.. they're service is very very poor. i guess they're not very well trained when it comes to customer service.
