One of the country's most established high-end malls, Shangri-la Plaza Mall offers equal doses of shopping, dining, art & culture, and entertainment for the discerning mall-goer.
Shangri-la Plaza Mall, or The Shang as it is often referred to by patrons, is located right along EDSA and is connected to the Shaw Boulevard MRT Station. It is within walking distance from the posh Edsa Shangri-la Hotel and SM Megamall, making it very accessible to the general public and highly convenient for foreign guests.
Shangri-la Plaza Mall has three main anchors: Rustan's Department Store, Rustan's Supermarket, and Crossings Department Store. All the basics like clothes, shoes, household items, and groceries are pretty much covered by the three. There is also a sizable National Bookstore branch on the ground floor for office and school supplies. Both fashion and lifestyle needs are addressed on many different levels with shops like Shoe Salon, Chocolate Clothing Company, Mothercare, Kidz Station, and Abenson. Various services can be availed of at establishments like American Eye Center, Dentista, Inc., Clarity, and Basement Salon.
Although many restaurants and food establishments are scattered throughout The Shang's seven levels, most are found in three main areas: Garden Food Court at the lower ground floor, Streetscape at the al fresco area of the ground floor, and The Ledge on the sixth floor.
Garden Food CourtGarden Food Court can be found at the lower ground floor or basement level of the The Shang. Almost all the popular fast-food chains like Jollibee, McDonald's, KFC, and Chowking have big stalls here, as do food court staples like Hen Lin, Binalot, and Reyes Barbecue among numerous others. Max's Restaurant and Kimono Ken offer a full sit-down dining experience within closed doors away from the food court crowd.
StreetscapeThis al fresco dining area is located right outside the main entrance of Shangri-la Plaza Mall. Restaurants like Fish & Co., Dome Café, and Agave Mexican Cantina line the Streetscape complete with tables and chairs laid outside to complete your open-air food tripping experience.
The LedgeThe Ledge can be found on the sixth floor of Shangri-la Plaza Mall. A variety of cuisines await you at The Ledge, ranging from the authentic Greek fare at Cyma Greek Taverna to the flavorful Malaysian cuisine at Penang Hill. Clawdaddy is both a seafood-lover and a meat-eater's paradise while C2 Classic Cuisine infuses your favorite Filipino dishes a fresh new twist.
Shangri-la Plaza Mall boasts of five state-of-the-art cinemas located on two levels. Aside from Hollywood blockbusters, the Shang Cineplex also shows films from different countries by holding film festivals for works originating from different parts of Europe and Asia.
