Greenbelt

Greenbelt is a high-end mall located between Makati Avenue and Greenbelt Drive, positioned right across New World Renaissance Hotel and Somerset Millenium. Like Glorietta, it has five major parts which are simply referred to as Greenbelt 1, Greenbelt 2, Greenbelt 3, Greenbelt 4, and Greenbelt 5. Unlike Glorietta though, Greenbelt has a particular zoning that sets each section apart from the other. It also has its own park, a verdant oasis smack dab in the middle of a vast shopping center, aptly referred to as Greenbelt Park.

Greenbelt 1 is Greenbelt Mall's original building. It looks and feels markedly older than the other parts of Greenbelt and it features mostly retail outlets that cover the basics. Stores like National Bookstore, Ace Hardware, Rustan's Fresh, Blims Fine Furniture, and Automatic Centre can all be found in Greenbelt 1. Restaurants in this area are comprised mostly of fast-food chains and quick short-order places like Jollibee, Wendy's, Reyes Barbecue, Teriyaki Boy, Razon's of Guagua, and David's Tea House. Greenbelt 1 has two movie theaters, plus it also houses Onstage Greenbelt, a multi-purpose theater where stage plays, concerts, and various live performances take place. The Spa and the popular high-end beauty salon Propaganda are also situated here, so expect to rub elbows with celebrities should you decide to avail of their services.

Greenbelt 2 is the home of numerous restaurants and bars serving a variety of cuisines. There is an al fresco dining area beside the outdoor walkways for those who want to enjoy the lush greenery and attractive landscaping. Restaurants at Greenbelt 2 include Flap Jacks, Bizu Patisserie and Bistro, Cyma Greek Taverna, Gloria Maris, and Sugi.

Perhaps the most versatile of all the sections, Greenbelt 3 has restaurants, cinemas, retail outlets, and an arcade gaming center. The outdoor area features more al fresco dining spaces and a water fountain. Shops like Calvin Klein, Avid Sony Shop, Beauty Bar, Sketch Books, Music One, and Nike Park abound. Baja Mexican Cantina, National Sports Grill, Capricciosa, Sentro 1771, Nanbantei of Tokyo, and The Good Earth Tea Room are but a few examples of the diverse cuisines under Greenbelt 3's roof.

Five state-of-the-art cinemas which include a 3D digital cinema and the arcade chain Timezone provide entertainment. The area outside the cinema also has several food stalls serving hot dogs, burgers, chips, candies, and sandwiches. Among them are Chimara, Muscle Beach Lemonade, and Nuts About Candy.

Greenbelt 4 is the home of premium designer brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Bottega Veneta, Tod's, and Marc Jacobs. Ayala Museum, where historical, ethnological, archaeological, and fine arts collections are displayed, is also located at Greenbelt 4. Museum Café or M Café, renowned for its Sunday Jazz Brunch and evening cocktails, can be found at the ground floor of the Ayala Museum.

As is the case with Glorietta 5, Greenbelt 5 is the latest addition to Greenbelt. Top local and international names like Balenciaga, Michael Kors, Kate Torralba, Michi Calica, and Cesar Gaupo have all opened shop here in addition to retail giants GAP and Banana Republic. Restaurants in Greenbelt 5's roster include Travel Café Philippines, Madison, Felix, Ristorante Pia y Damaso, and Lusso among scores of others.
