Araneta Center

Spanning 35 hectares in the heart of Cubao, Araneta Center is comprised of three major shopping areas: Gateway Mall, Ali Mall, and Farmers Plaza, the centerpiece of which is the world-class events venue Araneta Coliseum -- also known as The Big Dome. Parking is not a problem since there are over 5,000 parking spaces available at the Araneta Center and valet services can be availed of at Gateway Mall. Araneta Center is highly accessible since it is directly linked to MRT-3 and LRT-2, plus it is located at the intersection of two main thoroughfares -- EDSA and Aurora Boulevard.

Tailored for the high-end crowd, five levels of shopping, dining, and entertainment outlets comprise the Gateway Mall. Aside from the Globe Platinum Theater, the Gateway Cineplex houses nine other theaters which show the latest foreign and local movies. Named after boxing legend Muhammad Ali, Ali Mall is widely considered to be the first major modern shopping mall in the Philippines. It was built in 1976 after Muhammad Ali’s boxing victory over Joe Frazier at the Araneta Coliseum back in 1975. Ali Mall has undergone numerous renovations and expansions since then, including a major revitalization effort which added additional retail space. Over 250 retail stores and service establishments can be accessed at Ali Mall, including National Bookstore, Mercury Drug, David’s Salon, Handyman, Adidas, and Bench.

Ali Mall’s Food Strip and Food Gallery offers a variety of food choices with numerous restaurants like Gerry's Grill, Old Spaghetti House, Max’s Restaurant, and popular fast-food chains like Jollibee, McDonald’s, and KFC. Ali Mall is also equipped with five cinemas to complete your malling experience.

Farmers Plaza is Araneta Center’s offering to those who seek the best value for money. With over 60,000 sqm of retail space, Farmers Plaza has everything from clothing to electronics to lifestyle services. Establishments within Farmers Plaza include Plaza Fair Department Store, Ricky Reyes, Gibi Shoes, Penshoppe, CDR King, and Forever Flawless.

Restaurants and food outlets are plentiful at Farmers Plaza. Aside from a full roster of popular fast-food chains like Chowking, Jollibee, and Greenwich, there’s Kamay Kainan, Chin’s Express, Tropical Hut, and Goldilocks just to name a few.
