My husband was craving for their chicken and the gravy/sauce that comes with it for a long time now. So for the longest time too I was also curious about savory’s chicken.
Savory is a small resto that could seat probably 30 people at most. The place is almost always full. Since we were a large group of 14, we had to wait a couple of minutes before we were given our table. Their dishes are reasonably priced. Even cheaper than Max resto, where chicken is also the star. We ordered the following: chicken, spicy shrimp, beef broccoli, yang chow fried rice, beef tenderloin, pancit canton, salt & pepper spareribs.
To be honest, I wasn’t that impressed with the taste of the dishes even with their chicken which my husband was raving about. I thought they were quite bland. It didn’t meet my expectations of delighting my taste buds. The food was just ordinary.

i used to see this Savory signage at Escolta even during my younger years when Nanay would always ask me to accompany her to Divisoria, since it's very hard to stop over at the foot of the bridge we never had the chance to dine here aside from our preference for lunch would always be Jollibee back then. funny but it was only last december when i had my first taste of this savory chicken at glorietta 4 when Oliver & i ran out of place to dine... we ordered for a salo meal --half chicken, choice of side dish, plain or java rice and fried banana, all in for P299.00. what i love most is their serving of gravy!
today, Savory Chicken had expanded commonly in malls which makes it readily accessible and convenient to it's customers. their SM Hypermart branch in Tiendesitas is one good place to dine :)
