Classic Savory

My family super loves Savory chicken! It's so much like lechon, the skin is so crispy & tasty but better because it's tender and more affordable. It's reminiscent of my childhood when my mom would treat us to dinner at Savory in Luneta.

Other menu items that we love are the yang chow rice, beef brocolli, salt & pepper squid and the garlic spinach. Yummy all of them.

This restaurant offers Chinese food as much as they offer Filipino food. They have Chinese food such as beef Broccoli and bird's nest soup but they also have Filipino food like sisig (190php) and chicken adobo (245php). Their chicken(320php whole) is really nice and I think what made it special is that the sauce is different from the traditional gravy. Their sauce is somewhat sweet and it is the dish that they are famous for. Most of their food items are good. The service itself was okay, But the receptionist who received us took my baby cousins high chair while we were waiting for a table. My cousin fell on the floor and the receptionist/food server acted as if my cousin was at fault even though there were plenty of high chairs beside the one he was sitting at. How rude. And the tables were too close to each other.
