Just came from this restaurant. I've eaten here once before, way back when it was still new and tonight was the second time I returned. The place still looks great. Still classy. I and my wife just ordered one dish for dinner and a couple of drinks. I would have given this place good marks if not for really really BAD SERVICE. We couldnt believe that such a classy place could have such horrible service from the waiters. And to think that they charge extra for service!

ATTENTION: OWNERS OF A TASTE OF LA. PLEASE CHECK ON YOUR WAITERS. They seem to be out of control. We're not coming back until we hear that you guys have retrained or replaced the bad waiters over there. Thanks.

I am a regular customer here. I love the ambiance, food and excellent customer service. My usual, rockafeller oyster, fresh raw oysters, spinach pizza, kare-kare and the imbutido fish.

I fell in love with the place! Food is delicious and yeah, cooked to perfection. I like the table set with fresh roses and candle. Even though the food is a bit pricey, I still would love to go back and dine.

They should've announced that this resto is strictly and exclusively only for those who really know how to eat real good food ! ! ! But they never made a single ad all these years! Dito mabibisto ang mga nagpapanggap na marunong kumain ng tunay na pagkain - - kaya ingatz mga dahlings na pa-class kuno!

The best calamansi soda that I've had in years. Sisig was good. Pasta was not good and expensive. Parking was difficult, at the back. German Moreno was there when we went. Ladies' room was crowded. I like the lighted candles on the other tables. Service was good.

I've been coming in and out of this restaurant for 8yrs, whether it is for a family affair, business meetings or a romantic date. A Taste of L.A. has a warm, cozy, feeling, with a soothing background music that makes you feel relaxed. The interior has a "home away from home" ambience, a traditional Filipino- Spanish house touched with classic and comfy furnitures with nice flower decoration fills the dim-lit room.

Food is sumptuous and are cooked to perfection. They offer traditional cuisine touched with an influence of international twist. I tried all kinds of their mouth watering pugon-baked pizza (I highly recommend 3 cheese and garlic with feta cheese, spinach, and bacon pizza - my personal favorites). Oyster Rockefeller is something you should also try - not soggy and not dry. Calamari with a mustard dip is one of the small plates they offer that I enjoy eating - crunchy on the outside yet soft and tasty. As for their entree, soups and salads are definitely something worth looking forward to. For first time visitors, I recommend you to ask the waiters for their house specialties. Spanish callos and steaks are worth a try.

Their Strawberry cheesecake is one of the best cheesecakes I have ever tasted. It gradually melts in your mouth

When you talk about perfection, this restaurant has it. Every detail was carefully laid down. Although they according to what quality service is all about.

They serve delicious pizza and pasta. Prices of food is high though so its not really a place where you can regularly hang out.

I just ate here. Just loved the ambiance... and the spanish callos. Rice is quite pricey though. Their spinach pizza is also quite good. Will definitely go back there for another romantic dinner with my boyfriend. :)

As for their entree, soups and salads, it is definitely something worth looking forward to. For first time visitors, I recommend you to ask the waiters for their house specialties. Spanish callos and steaks are worth a try. Their Strawberry cheesecake (in a walnut crust) is one of the best cheesecakes I have ever tasted. Its full and creamy taste gradually melts in your mouth, you'll keep asking for more. I have been craving this on my 1st pregnancy and was always disappointed whenever I drop by seeing there's no more of these available. If you are into this, I suggest that the first thing you should ask is this so they'll prepare it for you. If not, fondue is a great alternative, which is also two thumbs up for its taste. The staff is so polite and efficient. They are always nearby whenever you need something. Surprisingly, they are accomodating and friendly, suggesting their well-rated menu even if you're an nth-time customer. When you talk about perfection, this restaurant has it. Every detail was carefully laid down. Although most say it's a bit pricey given the fact that they charge 250/pax consummable, I'd say it's reasonable according to what quality food with quality service is all about.

Acceptable food at unacceptable prices. Their floral arrangements are amazing.

I wonder if the sisig is still good. Parking at the back, so it had two ways in and out, which makes it safe in case of a fire. I haven't been there in a decade, maybe.

As with the rest of Morato, parking was difficult. Good sisig, great calamansi soda and ambience, terrible crepe, so-s0 pasta. Too expensive for the quality. Probably not going back.
